Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio Events and Opportunities

BOCA RATON, FL – Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio kicks off next week with 108 of the world’s best female golfers teeing it up in the four-day championship, January 23 – 26. Event officials have outlined additional family-friendly and affordable tournament week offerings for the whole community. These events and activities include a junior golf clinic for kids, Women’s Leadership Summit, Pro-Am experience, an upgraded food, drink and viewing opportunity at The Hideout at 17, and onsite STEM activities for youth presented by A.D. Henderson University School. Kids 17 and under are admitted free into the event with a ticketed adult.

Gainbridge Junior Golf Clinic
The tournament kicks off on Monday, January 20 at 3:30pm with the Gainbridge Junior Golf Clinic at Osprey Point Golf Course. LPGA Players and certified golf instructors will be on hand to offer free golf instruction to kids ages 5 and up. Registration is open to the whole community. Women’s Leadership Summit presented by Versant Health
On Tuesday, January 21, #GainbridgeLPGA is teaming up with Versant Health for a Women’s Leadership Summit. The summit will feature a panel headlined by female business leaders, a fireside chat with a LPGA Tour Professional, and presentations from pioneering female leaders. Gainbridge LPGA Official Pro-Am

The Hideout at 17 Passport
Tickets to the Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio are on sale now at gainbridgelpga.com/tickets and start at $15. For attendees interested in a unique experience at the event, the tournament offers an upgraded ticket option with The Hideout at 17 Passport. The Passport is available for $35 and provides an upgraded food and drink experience on the 17th hole, as well as daily grounds access to the tournament. Passport holders will receive one upgraded entrée and side, as well as two beverages of their choice.
Onsite STEM Activities
Patrons are invited to stop by the putting green on Saturday and Sunday while out at the tournament. A.D. Henderson University School will be offering free STEM activities for kids of all ages. The experience will be open to all spectators, and available 10:00am – 3:00pm on Saturday, and 10:00am – 5:00pm on Sunday.
The tournament continues to seek volunteers with positions available on five committees: Admissions, Marshals, Player Transportation, Pro-Am, and Standard Bearers. The help of 500 + volunteers is needed to successfully run an event of this size. The volunteer package includes Callaway apparel and weekly tickets to the tournament. 2020 Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio Announces Final Field

What: The final field for the Inaugural Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio was announced for January 21-26, 2020 at Boca Rio Golf Club.


The 2020 field will consist of six out of the Top 10 Rolex Rankings and eight players local to the South East Florida area including: Nelly and Jessica Korda, Lexi Thompson, Azahara Munoz, Morgan Pressel, Marina Alex, Nanna Koerstz, and Jaye Marie Green. Other notable players in the Inaugural Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio final field include: Ariya Jutanugarn, Megan Khang, Gaby Lopez, Mariah Stackhouse, Stacey Lewis and Cristie Kerr. Additionally, two sponsor exemptions were awarded to LPGA veteran Natalie Gulbis as well as Boca Rio Golf Club honorary member and sister to Morgan Pressel, Madison Pressel, to complete in the field. Sponsor Exemptions Announced for Inaugural Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio

BOCA RATON, FL – Tournament officials announced today that the Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio will extend sponsor exemptions to Natalie Gulbis and Madison Pressel. Gulbis and Pressel will join the field of the inaugural #GainbridgeLPGA, where 108 of the world’s best will compete at Boca Rio Golf Club January 20-26 for a $2 million purse.

Madison Pressel is a professional golfer on the LPGA’s Symetra Tour. She attended the University of Texas earning a finance degree with a full golf scholarship. In the past year, Pressel has carded 3 top 10’s, finished 35th on the Official Money List, and advanced to the LPGA Q-Series. Including Madison as a sponsor exemption makes 3 sets of sisters on the Gainbridge LPGA final field: Madison and Morgan Pressel, Ariya and Moriya Jutanugarn, and Jessica and Nelly Korda.
