On Tuesday January 21, the Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio will host the Women’s Leadership Summit presented by Versant Health with top female leaders from a variety of industries, creating a space to empower women, develop and strengthen skills, build networks and inspire lasting change.
The summit will feature a panel headlined by female business leaders, a fireside chat with an LPGA Tour professional, as well as engaging stories and presentations from pioneering women. All of the featured speakers will inspire with their stories of leadership and ingenuity. The day also includes networking opportunities and lunch.

Kimberly Davis, MBA, CPA, is Chief Accounting Officer for Versant Health, one of the nation’s leading managed vision care companies. She is responsible for overseeing a team of more than 30 accounting professionals working to ensure GAAP and statutory compliance, safeguarding the company’s assets and driving financial initiatives and strategies. Prior to joining Versant Health in 2018, Kimberly was Senior Vice President & Corporate Controller for JENSEN HUGHES. She received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland University College and MBA from The Johns Hopkins University Carey School of Business.
In addition to her duties as Chief Accounting Officer, Kimberly is passionate about providing mentorship to women who are aspiring leaders. She is also active with several professional and charitable organizations. As a member of the Executive Alliance, a prominent organization for connecting accomplished women on professional and personal levels to expand their impact and influence, she advocates for the advancement of women on corporate boards and other leadership roles. Kimberly is also on the board of directors of the Baltimore Chapter of Finance Executives, Inc. where she helps provide a forum for peer networking by CFOs and other senior financial executives. Additionally, Kimberly recently joined the Baltimore Chapter of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Campaign’s executive leadership team.
Kimberly has been recognized for her successful leadership, most recently as a “Successful Before 40 VIP” by The Daily Record and is frequently invited to speak about women empowerment, diversity and the power of mentoring.
Hayley Ellington-Buckles joined Versant Health, through Davis Vision, in 2012. She is responsible for overseeing regulatory, compliance, and ethics matters across Davis Vision-Superior Vision. She has more than 20 years of managed care, legal, compliance, and operations experience working for insurance and specialty health organizations. Her multidisciplinary experience gives her a unique perspective on influencing the successful integration of compliance across every area of the organization.
Prior to joining Versant Health, Hayley served as legal counsel for Humana Inc. During her tenure with Humana, she was counsel to Humana’s second largest market and focused on various subject areas including regulatory compliance, PPACA, behavioral health, and special investigations among others.
Hayley is a graduate of the University of Texas, Arlington with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies-Corporate Compliance and a Juris Doctor from Texas A&M School of Law (formerly Texas Wesleyan).
Dr. Tricia Meredith is an Assistant Research Professor in FAU’s College of Education and serves as the Director of Research for A.D. Henderson University and FAU High School. She received her doctorate in 2011 in Integrative Biology, with her dissertation research focusing on the sense of smell of sharks and their relatives. Her postdoctoral work at University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine addressed the impact of fat hormones on our sense of sweet taste. As Research Director, Dr. Meredith has designed and implemented the FAUHS Research Program and created the FAUHS Owls Imaging Lab, which both support dual enrolled students in undergraduate research. She was also recently selected as the “Distinguished Mentor of the Year” by FAU’s College of Education.
